Yosemite National Park
From the Nature Center you can make your way down the main road toward the trailhead for Vernal Falls and Nevada Falls. We knew that there were stairs near the Vernal Falls bridge but decided we would go as far as we could. The pathway is paved and mostly smooth with one exception…..very, very, steep. We managed to make it maybe 50 yards up the path before I started going backwards trying to go forwards. We decided it was time to turn around and call this trek out-of-bounds for us. I can comfortably say Vernal Falls and Nevada Falls is not for the wheelchair or scooter user, the path is just too steep.
